Privacy Policy

We are committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected and we shall endeavour to use any information that you provide when using this website, the mobile application and CircularONE (each, an “Application”, collectively the “Applications”) in accordance with this privacy policy (“Policy”). This Policy explains what information we collect, how we protect any information you submit to us, and how we use it. We may amend this policy from time to time by updating this page. Therefore, we suggest you check this page regularly to ensure you are aware of its contents, including any updates or changes to this Policy.

Personal information may be collected from you in various ways, including:

1. Information about your computer and about your visits to and use of the Applications (including information about your browser,  IP address,  general location as determined from the IP address and provided by the browser, the site from which you come, and the links followed when leaving our site). This information is also collected through cookies.

2. When you register and voluntarily provide information in response to questionnaires or downloaded forms, or register for newsletters or start or contribute to petitions (this includes your name, email address, and any other details asked for and which you provide).

3. When you conduct activities on our Applications (for example, when you purchase a product or service, we record what you purchased etc.), we may collect your name and contact details and details of your subscription to our services.

 

We use this information to understand your needs and provide you with better, personalized service, and in particular, for the following reasons:

Your information will not be disclosed to any third party unless you have given your consent to such disclosure. You may at any time ask us to refrain from sending you marketing messages by sending us an email with the words UNSUBSCRIBE in the subject box. If we contact you by email each time you receive a message you will also have the option to decline to receive further information of that type from us.

If you would like us to destroy information we hold about you, please let us know. However, please note that if you use any of our services which require you to provide personal information, deleting our records may mean that you will need to resubmit it to continue using such services.

We may disclose aggregate statistics about visitors, clients and sales to our Applications in order to describe our services to prospective partners, advertisers and other reputable third parties and for other lawful purposes, but these statistics will include no personally identifying information.

You may exercise any of the rights set out below. In order to exercise such rights, you must send a request to the following e-mail address: [email protected]. If the request does not meet the necessary requirements, you are hereby informed that ecoSPIRITS may request its amendment.

If this business is sold or integrated with another business your details may be disclosed to our advisers and any prospective purchasers and their advisers and will be passed on to the new owners of the business.

Cookies
Cookies are text files stored on your computer, and accessible only to the Applications which create them.

Our Applications may from time to time use cookies and log files for statistical analysis, to understand user behaviour, to administer the site, to tailor the information presented to a user based on their preferences, and to improve user experience.  Any information gathered by our use of cookies is compiled on an aggregate, anonymous basis.

Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, however you may delete, or disable cookies by following the instructions at http://www.allaboutcookies.org/manage-cookies/.  Please note that you may not be able to take full advantage of a Applications if you disable cookies. Our Applications uses cookies to keep you logged in, so disabling cookies may impair your experience of the service.

Without limiting the foregoing, you are hereby informed that technical cookies must always be installed in the your browser, as these types of cookies are responsible for guaranteeing the adequate functioning of the Applications. You may however decide not to install technical cookies by blocking or deleting cookies through the procedure enshrined in the above paragraph. In case you voluntarily uninstall technical cookies from your browser, ecoSPIRITS cannot guarantee the adequate functioning of the Applications and as such, shall not be responsible for any defects or errors that may occur within the Applications and/or affect you.

Owners of the cookies that may be installed

The cookies that may be installed in a user’s browser are either owned by:

  • ecoSPIRITS: Cookies owned by ecoSPIRITS are sent to the user’s browser or device from a computer or domain that is managed by ecoSPIRITS; or
  • Third parties: Cookies owned by third parties are sent to the user’s browser or device from a computer or domain that is not managed by ecoSPIRITS but by another (external) entity.

Purpose of the cookies that may be installed

As mentioned above, there are different types of cookies for different types of use. As such, the Applications may install the following cookies in a user’s browser:

  • Strictly necessary cookies or technical cookies: These types of cookies are necessary for the adequate operation of the Applications. For instance, strictly necessary cookies will allow you to connect to secure areas of the Applications or to effectively process payment for subscriptions and/or fees.
  • Analytical cookies: These types of cookies allow its owner to track and analyse the behaviour of users within the websites, including quantifying the number of users, or the impact of ads, among others. The information collected through this type of cookie is used in the measurement of the activity of the Applications in order to introduce improvements based on the analysis of the usage data.
  • Preference or personalization cookies: These types of cookies allow the Applications to remember information and thus differentiate between different users. The information that may be remembered can amount to language, the number of results to be shown when the user performs a search, appearance or contents of the service or the region from which the user accesses the service.

Retention period of the cookies that may be installed

According to the retention period of the cookies installed in a user’s browser, an Application may install:

  • Session cookies: These cookies retain user data for the time he/she remains in the Applications. As such, data that is subject to session cookies will disappear when the User leaves the session and/or the Application.
  • Persistent cookies: These cookies retain user data for a specific period of time.

Social Media
If you share our content through social media, for example by liking us on Facebook, following or posting about us on X, those social networks will record that you have done so and may set a cookie for this purpose.

In some cases, where a page on our Applications includes content from a social network, such as a X feed, or Facebook comments box, those services may set a cookie even where you do not click a button.  As is the case for all cookies, we cannot access those set by social networks, just as those social networks cannot access cookies we set ourselves.

Log Files
Our systems automatically gather some anonymous information about visitors, including IP addresses, browser type, language, and the times and dates of webpage visits.  The data collected does not include personally identifiable information and is used, as described above, for statistical analysis, to understand user behaviour, and to administer the site.

Google Analytics

Our Applications use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). The information generated by the cookie about your use of our Applications (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of our Applications, compiling reports on the Applications activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google’s behalf. The internet is not a secure medium. However, we take reasonable technical and organisational precautions to prevent the loss, misuse or alteration of your personal information.

We have put in place various security procedures as set out in this policy. For example, our security and privacy policies are periodically reviewed and enhanced as necessary and only authorised personnel have access to user information. We use secure server software (SSL) to encrypt financial information you input before it is sent to us, and our database is hosted in a secure data centre. Whilst we cannot ensure or guarantee that loss, misuse or alteration of data will not occur, we use our best efforts to prevent this. 

We may make changes to this privacy policy from time to time. If we change our privacy policy we will post the changes on this page. If the change in our privacy policy affects the use of your personal information we will use our best endeavours to contact you by email to seek your consent to the use.  Continued use of the service will signify that you agree to any such changes.

When accessing our Applications, you decide whether or not to authorize the installation of cookies in their browsers. To authorize cookies, you must click on “Accept Cookies”. On the other hand, to reject cookies, you must click on “Reject cookies”. In addition, you can also decide what specific cookies may be installed in your browser by clicking on “Cookie Preferences”. Moreover, you may revoke or grant further consents to the installation of cookies in your browser through the “Cookie Preferences” panel that is available on the Application.
